This was a project that was fully shot and produced, however something did not follow through during post-production, and it never saw the light of day. Directed by my friend Israel Rojas. It was a great project, and we had a great time shooting it. The only thing produced was a trailer.

Disco Pigs – A Directing College Project
This was my project that I turned in for my Directing 2 class at UTPA (now UTRGV). It was so exciting – I made the mistake of not having taken a video-editing class prior to this, but still. I’m very proud of this project. So many feels.
This project includes 4 sections! So, I actually shot too much for everything to fit under 15min (as required by the course) So here are time-frames of where the sections begin
- 0.00 – What I turned in for a grade
- 16:21 – The ending scene (following previous events)
- 20:40 – Additional scene that was removed from video
- 22:38 – Behind the scenes
The Wizard of Oz – A Directing College Project
This project was directed by my friend Mark Rodriguez during our college years. It was such a treat to play one of my childhood-favorite characters, the Cowardly Lion. Enjoy
A Clown – A College Project
This short film was intended to be a series of shorts that fell through in production. It was created and directed by Dulce Navarr.
Dogma – A College Directing Project
My good friend and fellow alumni of UTPA (now UTRGV) directed a scene from Kevin Smith’s film “Dogma.” I had a great time acting in this bit. Enjoy!
17th Street The Movie – A Mockumentary
Dennis T. Rivas had had this great idea, and turned out to be a hilarious feature in the style of The Office, or Parks & Recreations. I had a very small part near the beginning, but I still recommend giving it a watch if you’re into this style of comedy. UTPA All-Star Cast!
My scene starts at about 5:28
La Cruda – Short Film
A short parody made as a promotional film for the City of McAllen, Texas. Produced by my buddy Fernando Martinez.
Commercial Pilot – Galletas de Emperador
My brother, Mizrraim J. Medrano produced a commercial concept for a Mexican cookie/cracker company called “Emperador.
Linguini’s Ristorante – A Short Film
My buddy Samuel Leaños wrote and directed this heartwarming love story. I’ve always enjoyed working with Sam – a very receptive and creative producer. Hopefully we’ll get to work together again sometime.
A Real Cuban Sandwich ( …kinda)
During our quarantine, our company asked us to make some fun cooking-from-home videos. I made this one before they canned the initiative.
